SOUNDS IMPORTED! is a weekly world music radio show that I do on the University of Miami's student-run radio station WVUM 90.5 FM and wvum.org. I'll be using this blog to post any music that I play on that show in addition to any cool world music I find out there in the wild web. I'll also be using this blog to post any rare or out of print vinyls, tapes or CD's that I come across to expose people to music they couldn't have found otherwise. Any feedback is much appreciated! SOUNDS IMPORTED: WORLD MUSIC

Hey there world music lovers! My name is Taylor and I'm a DJ at WVUM 90.5 the University of Miami's radio station. I do a world music show there every sunday from 6:30-8PM and I usually pick a different country to explore every week. If you're not in the Miami area you can check out the show streaming live from our website WVUM.ORG and also I'll be posting all the music that I play each week here on this blog. Plus any sweet music I find out there in internet world or acquire myself I'll be happy to share with all you kids. So for today I'll give you what I've got now:
